Google Ads management fees
My fee is a fixed monthly amount agreed before work starts, separate from the ad budget you pay to Google. It does not rise automatically with spend; it rises with the amount of work an account needs. The three tiers above are the current guide: Starter for a single-market, Search-only account with one or two campaigns, Growth for an account running several campaign types or multiple services, and Enterprise for multi-region or multi-campaign accounts with significant spend, quoted after scoping. Every tier is confirmed in a written quote after a free audit of your account or a scoping call for a new one.
Clients in Australia, the UK, the USA, Canada and the UAE are on the same tiers with the same scope, tools and reporting. The rate sits below what a local agency of equivalent seniority charges; the difference is where I am based.
Recommended minimum ad budgets
The ad budget is paid directly to Google from your own billing profile and is never part of the management fee. I recommend a minimum for each account not because Google requires one but because a campaign needs enough conversions to learn from; below that level, optimization takes months instead of weeks. The figure depends on your sector and market and is named in the proposal; competitive sectors such as healthcare, finance and education consultancy need more, and international campaigns scale with the cost per click in your industry. Typical Nepal cost per click by sector is covered in how much Google Ads costs in Nepal, which is the best place to estimate what a budget will buy before we talk.
What determines the fee
- Campaign types. A Search-only account is faster to run than one with Shopping, Performance Max and YouTube, each with its own assets, feeds and review cycle. This is the main line between Starter and Growth.
- Markets and languages. Each additional country or language adds keyword research, ad copy, location settings and separate reporting. Multi-market accounts sit in Enterprise.
- Tracking complexity. Forms and calls are standard. Offline conversion import from a CRM, server-side purchase events or multiple websites take more setup and ongoing checking; see conversion tracking setup.
- Ad spend. Higher spend means more search terms to read, more bids to manage and more at stake in each decision, so it moves an account up a tier, though not in proportion.
- Landing pages. Recommendations are included. Building or redesigning pages is a separate service under PPC landing page design.
- Reporting needs. A standard Looker Studio dashboard is included; custom multi-channel reporting or board-level decks are scoped into an Enterprise quote.
What every management fee includes
- Conversion tracking setup or repair, verified by test.
- Campaign build or restructure, keywords, negatives, ads and assets.
- Weekly optimization and fortnightly ad tests, as described under PPC management.
- Monthly report and dashboard, plus a change log in the account.
- Direct access to me by email, WhatsApp or scheduled call.
Not included
- The ad budget paid to Google.
- Landing page design or development, video and graphic production.
- Third-party tool subscriptions, such as call-tracking numbers, if you choose to use them.
Setup-only and consulting options
If you want the account built properly and will run it yourself, Google Ads setup is a one-off project quoted on request. A standalone Google Ads audit is also quoted on request: the full nine-area audit with a written fix list, credited if you continue into management. Teams that need a second opinion or training rather than management can use Google Ads consulting and coaching, billed by the session or the day and quoted on request.
How to get an exact quote
Request a free Google Ads audit if you already advertise, or contact me for a scoping call if you do not. I come back with a written proposal that names the tier, the recommended budget and the first month’s plan. There is no contract term: engagements run month to month and you keep the account, the GA4 property and the GTM container whatever you decide. Invoiced in NPR, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD or AED.
