Nepal Marketing Notes Newsletter

Nepal Marketing Notes is an email I send when something has happened that changes what a business here should do about SEO, Google Ads or Meta Ads. It is short, it is irregular, and it is written by me rather than assembled from a content calendar.

  • Written by one person
  • Sent when there is something to say
  • Unsubscribe by replying to any issue

What is in it

  • Platform changes that matter here, and what to change in an account because of them.
  • Numbers from real work where I am allowed to share them: what a lead cost, what a change did, what did not work.
  • Mistakes I see repeatedly in Nepali accounts, and the fix.
  • Occasionally, a new guide, checklist or free tool on this site.

How often it arrives

Irregularly. I am not going to promise a weekly or monthly send, because I would break the promise inside a quarter and you would notice. Some months there is something worth writing; some months there is not, and an email sent to fill a slot is a waste of your attention and mine. If a long gap bothers you, unsubscribe and read the blog instead, where everything is dated and published as it is written.

What it is not

It is not a course, a funnel or a sequence of increasingly urgent emails ending in a sales page. Subscribing does not put you on a call list, and it does not mean I will pitch you. If you want to stop, reply to any issue with the word unsubscribe and I take you off the list.

What happens to your email address

Your address is stored on this site, in the same place enquiries are stored, and it is used for one thing: sending you this newsletter. It is not passed to an email marketing platform, because I do not use one. The emails carry no tracking pixel, so I cannot see whether you opened one or what you clicked. Your address is never sold, shared or added to another list, and enquiry contacts are never added to this one. The privacy policy sets out the detail, including how to ask for your data or its removal.

Subscribe

Your email address is all I need. A first name is optional, and is only used to open the email.

Past issues

There is no archive yet, because the list is new. Everything I have written so far is on the blog, and the longer reference material sits in free resources. If an issue is worth keeping, it usually becomes an article there too.

Who writes it

I do: Keshab Joshi, an SEO and digital marketing consultant in Kathmandu who has been running client accounts since 2018. Background is on the about page, and the work behind the examples is in the case studies.

If you want help rather than reading

The newsletter is not a substitute for someone looking at your account. If you want that, ask for a free SEO audit or book a free 30-minute call. I reply within 4 business hours on business days.

Frequently asked questions

How often will I get an email?

There is no schedule. I send when a platform change, a result or a recurring mistake is worth your time, which in practice means a handful of times a year rather than every week. I would rather under-send than pad an email to meet a self-imposed deadline.

Will you use my address for anything else?

No. It is used to send this newsletter and nothing else. It is not sold, shared or added to a sales sequence, and it never goes to an email marketing platform, because this site does not use one.

How do I unsubscribe?

Reply to any issue with the word unsubscribe. I remove your address from the list by hand, normally the same day and always within a few business days, and you will not hear from the list again.

Ready to talk about your project?

A free 30-minute call, a straight answer about what would move the numbers, and a written proposal within 48 hours if we are a fit.
