Digital Marketing Expert based in Kathmandu, Nepal. 7+ years of experience across SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads.
I’m Keshab Joshi โ a digital marketing specialist based in Kathmandu, Nepal, with over 7 years of hands-on experience managing SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Ads campaigns for businesses across Nepal, Australia, the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Dubai, and beyond.
My journey in digital marketing began in 2018 when I started working with local businesses in Nepal to build their online presence. What started as SEO work quickly expanded into paid search and social advertising as I recognized that businesses need both immediate results (paid) and long-term growth (organic) to succeed in competitive markets.
Today, I work at Encore Media Pvt. Ltd., one of Nepal’s established digital marketing agencies, while also managing campaigns for international clients across multiple industries and geographies. This dual exposure โ agency operations and direct client management โ gives me a strategic perspective that most specialists in Nepal simply don’t have.
I manage three core channels for businesses: SEO for organic search visibility that compounds over time, Google Ads for immediate qualified traffic from search intent, and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) for targeted awareness and lead generation.
The difference in my approach is that I manage all three together โ your Google Ads search term data informs your SEO keyword strategy, your SEO content reduces long-term paid dependency, and your Meta Ads creative testing reveals what messaging actually resonates with your audience. When these channels are treated as one growth system rather than three separate budgets, every rupee works harder.
My client experience spans banking and finance (Global IME Bank, IME Remit, Better Broking Australia, Todaro Finance Group), healthcare (Angel Fertility Clinic), hospitality and tourism (Chandragiri Hills), and professional services across Nepal and Australia. Each industry has taught me different lessons about buyer behavior, competitive dynamics, and what actually drives conversions โ lessons I apply across every new engagement.
Cross-market work has been just as formative. What converts an Australian mortgage buyer is fundamentally different from what converts a Nepali first-time borrower. What ranks for a Kathmandu clinic is different from what ranks for a Dubai specialty practice. The frameworks transfer; the execution does not. That pattern recognition is what clients pay for.
Every campaign I manage starts with one question: what does business growth look like for you? Not rankings. Not impressions. Not vanity metrics. Revenue, leads, and cost per acquisition are the real scorecard.
If a ranking doesn’t lead to a conversion, it doesn’t justify the investment. If an ad gets clicks but no leads, the targeting needs work. If a landing page gets traffic but a 2% conversion rate, the creative and the copy aren’t aligned. This commercial-first thinking is why clients across six countries trust me with their budgets โ and why they stay.
I also refuse to run campaigns without proper tracking. GA4, GTM, and Meta Pixel are installed before a single dollar of paid budget is spent. If we can’t attribute an outcome to a channel, we can’t optimize it, and we can’t defend it. That discipline has saved clients lakhs in misattributed spend.
Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Looker Studio, Google Data Studio, Canva, and custom reporting dashboards. The tools serve the strategy โ not the other way around. I add new ones when they solve a real problem and drop ones that don’t move the needle.
Every engagement runs on the same principles: direct access (you work with me, not a rotating account manager), transparent reporting (dashboards you can log into anytime), month-to-month contracts (no multi-year lock-ins), and weekly rhythm (optimizations happen weekly, reviews happen monthly). Clients know what’s happening, when it’s happening, and what it cost. Nothing is a black box.
When I’m not managing campaigns, I’m building systems โ whether that’s creating content for my YouTube channel, automating workflows, or deepening my understanding of AI tools that are reshaping how digital marketing works. I believe in continuous learning, and I invest significant time every week in staying current with platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices.
Digital marketing in 2026 is nothing like it was in 2018 when I started. The specialists who will still be relevant in 2030 are the ones learning constantly. I intend to be one of them.
