Meta Ads

Facebook Ads Setup Service

The Facebook ads setup service builds the foundation once and properly: Business Manager, ad account and payment, Pixel and Conversions API, domain verification and the first campaigns, then hands it over to your team. It is the one-off option within my Meta Ads services for businesses that will run their own ads.

  • Pixel and Conversions API verified before handover
  • Everything owned in your business's name
  • Training session for your team

Who this is for

Businesses in Nepal and abroad with someone in-house who will run the ads day to day but has never built the account structure correctly: a new business, a marketing executive who has only used the boost button, or a company whose ads have been running from a staff member’s personal profile. It also suits businesses that want to test Meta advertising for a few months before committing to Facebook Ads management services. If an existing account is restricted rather than merely messy, start with Facebook ad account restriction and policy recovery.

What the setup includes

  1. Business Manager (Business Portfolio). Created in the business’s name with the owner as admin, staff as employees with only the roles they need, and two-factor authentication on every login. The Facebook page and Instagram account are claimed into it.
  2. Ad account and payment. A new ad account with the right currency and time zone, and a payment method that will not decline mid-campaign. For Nepali businesses this is the hard part: individuals can hold prepaid dollar cards limited to USD 500 a year, an April 2026 Nepal Rastra Bank amendment lets banks set their own prepaid-card limits, and registered IT businesses can obtain cards with USD 3,000 to 5,000 annual limits. Where none of these fit, the Facebook boost service runs your campaigns through an agency account with rupee invoicing.
  3. Business verification where Meta requires it for your category or spend, with the documents matched to the registered name.
  4. Pixel and Conversions API. The Pixel through Google Tag Manager, server events through the platform’s native integration or a gateway, deduplication confirmed, standard events mapped to your actual conversions (lead form, WhatsApp click, purchase with value), and event match quality raised with the customer data you legitimately hold. This is the Pixel and Conversions API setup step, and it is verified with test conversions before anything else is built.
  5. Domain verification and the aggregated event configuration Meta still uses for iOS attribution.
  6. Audiences. Website visitor, engagement and customer-list audiences, plus exclusions for existing customers and staff.
  7. First campaigns. One prospecting campaign and one retargeting campaign for your main objective, with ad copy in Nepali or English, creative briefs and naming conventions your team can follow.
  8. Handover and training. A written setup document and a screen-shared session covering how to read results, change budgets, add creative and avoid the settings that cause problems. Teams that want ongoing coaching can add Facebook Ads consulting and coaching.

Business Manager setup: the decisions that matter

Who owns the portfolio decides who keeps the account when staff leave. The page must be owned by the business, not by the marketing executive’s profile. Ad accounts are separated by market when currencies differ. Partners and agencies are given access through partner sharing, never made admins. Every one of these is cheap to do at setup and expensive to fix after a dispute.

What is deliberately not included

Ongoing optimization, creative testing and reporting, which are the monthly management service; video and graphic production, for which you receive briefs; and landing page builds, which sit under PPC landing page design.

Mistakes this setup prevents

  • Ad account, page and Pixel owned by a former employee.
  • Pixel installed but no events, so campaigns can only optimize for clicks.
  • Lead event firing on page load, so every visitor counts as a lead.
  • Payment method that fails at month end, pausing every campaign and flagging the account.
  • Unverified domain and no business verification, so the first policy issue becomes a restriction.

What you receive

A Business Portfolio and ad account in your name; verified Pixel and Conversions API with a test log; domain verification; audiences; two live campaigns with copy and briefs; a setup document; and a training session. Everything is owned by the business from day one.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Facebook ads setup take?

Usually one to two weeks. Business verification and payment method approval are the variable parts; the Pixel, Conversions API and campaign build take a few days once access is in place.

What do you need from me to start?

Admin access to the Facebook page and Instagram account, company registration documents if verification is required, access to the website or its tag manager, and a decision on the payment method. I send a checklist at the discovery call.

Can you set up ads if my business has no international card?

Yes. I explain the card options available to Nepali individuals and registered businesses, and where none fit, the boost service runs your campaigns through an agency account with invoicing in rupees. The rest of the setup is identical.

Will my team be able to run the ads afterwards?

That is the point of the service. The handover session covers reading results, budgets, adding creative and the settings to leave alone, and the setup document records every decision. If your team gets stuck later, consulting sessions are available.

Is the Pixel setup included, or is it separate?

Included, and it is the first thing built. Every campaign in the setup optimizes for a verified event, because a campaign without one can only chase clicks.
