Why this audit exists
Every marketing decision rests on the measurement underneath it. If a conversion is double counted, you scale a campaign that is not working. If phone calls are untracked, you cut a campaign that is. I offer this one free because when I audit ads or SEO the tracking is broken so often that checking it first saves everyone time.
What the audit covers
- Whether conversions are firing at all. The single most common fault, and the most expensive: an account spending against a tag that stopped working after a site change.
- Double counting. The same conversion recorded by a page view and a form event, or by both the browser and the server without deduplication, which inflates results and misleads bidding.
- Untracked enquiries. Phone clicks, WhatsApp clicks and email clicks, which in Nepal are the majority of enquiries and are usually invisible. An account measured only on form submissions looks far worse than it is.
- GA4 configuration. Key events marked correctly, internal traffic excluded, cross-domain set up where needed, and whether the data retention setting is losing your history.
- Tag Manager hygiene. Duplicate tags, tags firing on every page that should not, and tags left behind by former agencies.
- Ad platform conversion setup. Which actions are primary, whether Google Ads and GA4 agree, and whether Meta’s Pixel and Conversions API are deduplicating.
- Attribution settings and why your platform numbers and your GA4 numbers differ, which is usually expected rather than broken, but worth understanding.
- Consent handling where it applies to your markets.
Turnaround
Within three business days of access being granted, usually sooner.
How access works
Viewer access to Google Analytics 4, read access to Google Tag Manager, and read-only access to whichever ad accounts you run. All are read-only, all can be revoked at any time, and none of them expose payment details. Where you would rather not grant access, I can do a reduced version from the public site alone, checking what tags load and fire in the browser, which catches a surprising amount.
Who is doing the audit
Me, watching the tags fire in your own browser session and comparing what each platform reports. Not a scanner producing a score. Tracking faults are found by looking at real events rather than by a tool grading a page.
Request your audit
Fill in the form with your website and which platforms you use. If tracking turns out to be the thing holding your marketing back, the fixes are covered by analytics and tracking, GA4 setup, Google Tag Manager setup, Google Ads conversion tracking and Pixel and Conversions API setup.
