Web Design & Development Portfolio in Nepal

I design and build WordPress sites for businesses in Nepal and abroad: clinics, law firms, tour and charter operators, finance companies, stores and personal brands. This page describes the categories of work, what each type of site has to achieve and how the builds are put together, so you can judge whether the approach suits your project.

  • WordPress, no page-builder bloat
  • Tracking installed before launch
  • Built to rank, not just to look right

The kinds of sites I build

Every project below is a WordPress build. The differences are in what the site has to do, and that changes the structure, the content plan and the measurement more than it changes the design.

Professional services sites

Law firms, consultancies and financial advisers. The site’s job is credibility and a qualified enquiry: practice-area pages that answer the questions people actually ask, clear people and credentials, and a contact path that suits someone who does not want to fill in a long form. These sites live or die on their service pages, which is also where law firm SEO starts.

Clinic and healthcare sites

Hospitals, clinics and specialist practices. Treatment pages written for patients rather than for other doctors, doctor profiles, appointment booking or a call button that works on a phone, and a structure that supports healthcare SEO. Privacy and platform advertising policy both influence what the site can say and collect.

Tourism, trekking and charter sites

Tour operators, resorts, trekking companies and helicopter charter businesses. Itinerary and package pages, seasonal content, galleries that stay fast, enquiry forms that capture dates and group size, and multi-currency clarity for international visitors. The organic side is travel and tourism SEO.

Business and corporate sites

Banks, finance companies and established businesses that need a maintainable site with a lot of pages, consistent components and an editing workflow that non-technical staff can use without breaking the layout.

Online stores

WooCommerce builds with Nepali payment gateways, delivery rules, product feeds for shopping campaigns and category structures that can rank. Scoped under eCommerce website development and supported by WooCommerce SEO.

Personal brand and portfolio sites

Consultants, doctors, lawyers and founders who need one authoritative page about themselves that ranks for their own name and supports speaking, hiring or client work. See personal branding.

Landing pages for ad campaigns

Single-purpose pages built to receive Google or Meta traffic, with message match and tracking rather than navigation. These are a different discipline from a website and are scoped on PPC landing page design.

Redesigns and migrations

Rebuilding a site that already ranks is the riskiest work on this list, because a careless launch loses traffic that took years to earn. URLs are mapped old to new, redirects are written before launch and rankings are watched afterwards. See website redesign and website migration SEO.

How the builds are put together

  • Content plan before design. The page list, the search term for each page and the action each page asks for are agreed first. Design then serves the content instead of hiding it.
  • WordPress on a light theme, edited in the block editor. No heavy page builder, because the weight is paid for by every visitor on every visit.
  • Speed as a build decision, not a plugin added afterwards: image formats and sizes, font loading, script control, caching. Deeper work is page speed optimization.
  • SEO structure from the start: clean URLs, one H1 per page, titles and descriptions, internal links, schema and an XML sitemap.
  • Measurement before launch. GA4 and Google Tag Manager installed, with form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks tested as events.
  • Handover that sticks: a training session, documentation of how to add a page, and 30 days of post-launch fixes. Ongoing cover is website maintenance.

How to judge a web design portfolio

Screenshots tell you what a site looked like on the day it launched. They do not tell you whether it loads on a phone on mobile data, whether enquiries arrive and get answered, or whether the client can still edit it two years later. When you review anyone’s portfolio, including mine, open the live sites on your phone, submit a test enquiry, and check whether the pages are still being updated. Those three checks say more than any gallery.

Individual project write-ups

Named project pages, each with the brief, the before and after, the build decisions and the measured outcome, are being written and will be published here as clients approve them. Businesses I have worked with are listed on the clients page, and engagements with published numbers are in the case studies.

Talk about your build

Tell me what the site has to achieve, not how many pages you think you need, and I will tell you what the build involves and where the effort actually goes. Get in touch for a free 30-minute call; I reply within 4 business hours on business days. The service, scope and process are on web design and development and WordPress development, and typical cost ranges for Nepal are in the digital marketing cost guide.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see live links to the sites you have built?

Yes, on request during a call, and individual project write-ups with screenshots and live links are being added here as clients approve them. I ask before publishing a client's site as portfolio work, because some clients prefer not to advertise that the site was built outside their own team.

Do you design as well as build?

Yes, within a component system rather than a bespoke illustration for every page, so new pages stay consistent after handover. For a full brand identity, logo and visual system, that is separate work scoped under brand identity design.

Will my site rank after you build it?

The build gives it the structure to rank: clean URLs, headings, speed, schema and a content plan mapped to real searches. Ranking then depends on content and links over the following months, which is an SEO engagement rather than part of the build. I will tell you which of the two your business actually needs first.
