Who these sessions are for
Teams already using AI tools informally with no agreed approach, and managers deciding whether to adopt them. Suited to marketing, content, support, admin and operations teams rather than engineering. This is part of digital marketing training.
What the sessions cover
- What these tools actually are. Enough about how language models work to understand why they invent citations and get arithmetic wrong, because that explains most of the failures.
- The tasks where they genuinely help. Drafting from an outline, restructuring existing text, summarising long documents, generating variations, translating and localising, extracting structure from messy notes.
- The tasks where they fail. Anything needing current facts, figures, legal or medical accuracy, or judgement about your specific business. Confident wrong answers are the main risk, not obvious ones.
- Prompt technique that survives contact with real work. Context, examples, constraints and iteration, practised on your own tasks rather than on puzzles.
- Checking output. How to verify before publishing, and which categories of claim must always be checked by a person.
- Client and confidential data. What may and may not be pasted into a third-party tool, which is the question every team eventually gets wrong.
- A written usage policy. A one-page document your team agrees: what is allowed, what is not, how AI-assisted work is disclosed, who approves customer-facing output. Reviewed by your own legal adviser before it is issued if it touches client data.
What you will be able to do afterwards
- Identify which of your own tasks are worth automating with these tools.
- Write prompts that produce usable first drafts.
- Recognise and check the failure modes.
- Apply a clear rule about what data may leave the business.
- Operate under a written usage policy the team agreed.
Format and fees
Sessions run either one to one or with a small team, online or in person in Kathmandu, spread over several sittings rather than one long day, because the exercises need time in between. The number of sessions depends on the starting point, which we establish on a short call first. Fees are on request and depend on format and team size.
I would rather turn down a booking than run sessions that will not help. If the honest answer is that you need someone to do the work rather than learn it, I will say so and point you at the relevant service.
Next step
Tell me your current level and what you want to be able to do on the contact page, and I will propose a format and a number of sessions.
